Housekeeper

Job Summary:

As a valued member of our Sierra Sky Ranch Hotel housekeeping team, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining cleanliness & organization at Sierra Sky Ranch Hotel and Granite Mountian RV Park. You'll help ensure that guest rooms, public areas, and facilities are maintained. Your dedication will directly contribute to the exceptional experience we provide for our guests. Beyond cleaning duties, you'll support our in-house laundry operation, inventory management, report maintenance issues, and uphold top-notch customer service standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, encompassing bed linen changes, carpet vacuuming, furniture dusting, and bathroom sanitation
• Maintain pristine conditions in public spaces like the lobby, corridors, restrooms, storerooms, laundry areas & offices.
• Replenish guest room supplies including towels, toiletries, and other essentials
• Promptly report maintenance concerns or damages to the respective departments
• Follow established protocols for handling lost and found items
• Address guest requests promptly and courteously
• Exhibit a professional and positive attitude when interacting with guests and colleagues
• Adhere strictly to safety and security policies and procedures
• Execute any additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must posses a valid driver’s license
• Preferred experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial work
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, storage practices, and safe disposal methods
• Ability to work independently at times without direct supervision
• Keen eye for detail and excellent organizational abilities
• Capacity to lift and maneuver heavy items like furniture and cleaning equipment
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching are essential for the role
• Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and push/pull loads up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting time constraints
