Program Manager Seasonal (Summer Youth Program)

Green Door Initiative is seeking a Program Manager for our summer youth program beginning May 1st through the end of August. The manager will administer a program with a group of up to 30 high school aged students who will be introduced to the world of environmental protection, sustainability, green jobs and more. Students will learn a variety of skills including CPR, life skills, camping, career development, environmental literacy and more. The incumbent will develop the schedule, group activities and facilitate activities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with the ability to be proactive and manage multiple tasks as assigned. Exemplary interpersonal communications skills and experience working with high school students a must. The job will include monitoring students, coordinating field trips, maintaining student files and other administrative tasks. This job will be conducted inside and outdoors for the entire period.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management, including project scheduling and scope management
• Experience working with youth, particularly high school students
• Classroom management experience a plus
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• Motivation and adaptability leadership
• Ability to manage budgets and oversee program development

Pay: $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
