This position will be based at our Alain LeRoy Locke College Prep Academy in Watts. Graduates will be career- and college-ready, critically conscious and literate citizens, culturally competent leaders and critically engaged change agents. Teachers will work with students on college-readiness test preparation and college applications as well as the scholarship and financial aid application process, as well as teach and reinforce the skills needed to make a successful transition from high school to post-secondary education and/or the workforce. The positions will also work with department members to maintain the schools’ scope and sequence as scholars move from grades 9-12.
