OPPORTUNITY
The Information Systems Analyst - Reporting has a critical role in supporting Green Dot’s mission to prepare students for college, leadership and life. The Information Systems Analyst - Reporting will play a crucial role in managing, analyzing, and reporting on data to support data-driven decision-making, compliance reporting, and information system support. The Information Systems Analyst - Reporting will support the department in the areas of data collection, analysis, reporting, and application support. The Information Systems Analyst - Reporting will work primarily with student demographic, academic, and accountability data, but will also be expected to learn and master new systems and applications quickly. This position is part of the Information Systems team and reports to the Director of Information Systems. This is a role serving as part of Green Dot California’s central office team, primarily based in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, analytical, detail-oriented individual with a passion for education.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Management & Reporting:
Proficiently manage and manipulate extensive datasets using Excel and SQL databases.
Conduct advanced SQL queries to generate comprehensive reports and audit data migration pipelines.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the implementation of new systems and procedures that enhance organizational efficiency.
Compliance Reporting:
Collaborate on local, state, and federal compliance reporting efforts while documenting best practices.
Streamline processes to ensure efficient, timely, and error-free compliance reporting and certifications, including pre- and post-submission audits.
Participate in relevant authorizer, county, and state compliance meetings or webinars to stay updated on regulatory requirements.
Information System Support:
Master and maintain various web-based applications, providing technical assistance to High-quality instruction is at the heart of every Green Dot California school.
