Lawn Care Crew Member (Full-time/Seasonal)

We are looking for an individual who will represent our Green Edge Lawn Service company as a lead and provide outstanding service to our customers April through October.

As the face and voice of this brand, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining positive relationships with employees and clients and being out in the field.

Green Edge Lawn Care started in 2001, this company took over accounts from a previous family-owned company.

We primarily focused on mowing, trimming, and blowing. Our focus has been primarily serving approximately 60 residential clients in the Zumbrota area with some commercial and cemetery clients. Referrals are our primary source of marketing for this business and have long-standing clients who we continue to serve.

Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management (less than 10%) Proactively communicate with staff to ensure staff is aware of schedule and customer needs. Develop and communicate staff schedules based on client commitments and weather. Lead weekly meetings with staff. Participate in weekly meeting with Operations Manager. Lead training and orienting with new staff. Provide regular feedback to staff.

Lawn Work & Customer Service (approximately 90%) General labor including working in the outdoor heat and cold while doing the physical work of walking on uneven terrain, bending/lifting, sitting/standing, and must be able to carry up to 40lbs Communicate with 60 Customers throughout the season to maintain working relationship and grow business services (pruning/trimming/shrubbery/spring/fall cleanup/leaf removal). Qualifications: Highly dependable, punctual, and accountable. Ability to work safely. Excellent time management skills. Passion for delivering high-quality customer service. An entrepreneurial mindset is necessary to be successful in this role. Basic equipment and mechanical knowledge. Desire to learn and grow, focusing on lawn care services to best support our customers. Strong team player with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities.

Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR check. Ability to adapt to changing priorities. Ability to pass a background check. Hours and Pay: Work hours to be determined based on business needs, but generally, 40 hours worked Monday through Friday typically during mid-morning through early evening hours. Some Saturday work may be required. Initial wage of $20.00-$24.00 per hour bonus potential.
