Vending Machine Warehouse Technician

Our team is currently looking for a Vending Warehouse Technician to support the vending and beverage operations for our business. This position is responsible for loading, unloading, transporting, installing, repairing, and ongoing maintenance of vending equipment. This is a highly visible role and work is often performed in high-traffic guest areas; therefore, the ability to perform tasks and provide basic guest interaction will be expected. Successful candidates will be a role model who can work productively with little supervision.

General Responsibilities:

• The Vending Technician is responsible for loading/unloading, transporting, installing, repairing, and ongoing maintenance of the vending equipment.
• Ability to refurbish new and used equipment in service shop.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot problems with equipment, identify solutions and/or techniques for resolution.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment and operating systems.
• Maintain and inspect equipment and ensure it is in satisfactory condition (e.g., clean and sanitize machines, load/unload materials, clean work areas) according to company policies and procedures.
• Performs additional duties within scope of the role as assigned by management.
• Educate customers on basic equipment repair and upkeep procedures.

Safety:

• Comply with all department and company policies and procedures to include safety rules and regulations, recognizing hazards and taking reasonable and appropriate action to report and or resolve.
• Ability to utilize motorized equipment and vehicles in a safe and cautious manner to perform tasks successfully.
• Remain current on certifications and training required to be compliant in role.

Job Qualifications & Requirements:

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Must be professional in this highly visible role. This position is performed in high traffic guest areas: therefore, the ability to perform tasks and provide basic interaction will be always expected.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push/pull and frequently lift 50lbs repetitively.
• Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work Monday - Friday 7 AM – 4 PM and be flexible to work overtime as needed.

• Ability to be a role model for others and work with little supervision.

Working Conditions:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be flexible to work in a controlled temperature environment; however, may be exposed to heat/cold weather during support of outside duties.

Experience/Knowledge:

• High School Diploma, a technical certification or college degree is advantageous.
• 2 years of work-related experience
• Basic operating of a computer to include basic excel knowledge, sending emails, typing word documents
• Familiarity with basic warehousing operations a plus; however, not required.
• Must have a clean driving record

Requirements:

· Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
