What are the responsibilities and job description for the Healthcare Receptionist position at Green Foot & Ankle Care, LLC?
We are looking for a Full Time or Part Time Receptionist for a Podiatry office. Monday – Friday hours.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Welcome and greet all patients and visitors, in person or over the phone
- Answer the phone while maintaining a polite, consistent phone manner using proper telephone etiquette
- Responsible for keeping individual workstation clean and organized
- Register new patients and update existing patient demographics by collecting detailed patient information including personal and financial information
- Facilitate patient flow by notifying the provider of patients' arrival, be aware of delays, and communicate with patients and clinical staff
- Respond to inquiries by patients, prospective patients, and visitors in a courteous manner
- Protect patient confidentiality, making sure protected health information is secured
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or graduation equivalency degree (GED).
Experience:
Medical office experience is beneficial but not required.
