Budtender/Receptionist

Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Marijuana Budtender to join our team in a dynamic retail environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cannabis and a strong desire to provide excellent customer service. As a Budtender, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting the right products to meet their needs, educating them about various strains and consumption methods, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping experience.
• Assist customers in product selection by understanding their preferences and needs.
• Educate customers about different cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories.
• Maintain knowledge of current cannabis laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Stock shelves with products and ensure displays are organized and visually appealing.
• Operate cash registers accurately, handling transactions efficiently while providing change as needed.
• Conduct product demonstrations to promote new items and enhance customer knowledge.
• Upsell products by identifying opportunities based on customer needs and preferences.

Requirements

• Previous experience in cannabis retail sales (1-2 years preferred)
• Familiarity with retail math concepts for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
• Ability to work with a team while also taking initiative when required.
• A genuine interest in cannabis culture and products is essential for success in this role.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older as per state regulations.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
