Job Title: Outreach Manager
Reports to: Clinical Director
Supervises: Event Volunteers
Organization Focus: Green Hill Therapy is an outpatient therapy clinic, located on an 11-acre farm that provides occupational, physical and speech therapy services to children with special needs. Therapy sessions combine a highly specialized treatment approach known as Hippotherapy with more traditionally clinic-based therapy. Our therapists utilize the movement of our specially trained therapy horses, with the assistance of equine team members, to help children with Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida and other conditions.
Job Focus: Leads Green Hill Therapy efforts to clearly communicate organization message to community stakeholders in an effort to motivate their participation in Green Hill’s mission either through financial contribution, volunteering, or engaging others that may want to enhance the organization.
Specific Functions and Responsibilities Include:
- Build relationships with current and new stakeholders.
- Coordinate friend-raising and fundraising events throughout the year.
- Work with board members in fundraising activities, volunteer engagement, and recruiting new Board Members.
- Manage website, MailChimp communications and sponsorships.
- Perform data entry tasks into donor database and MailChimp.
- Coordinate all aspects of grant sourcing, requests, and reports.
- Create and manage regular social media posts and engagement across multiple platforms.
- Work with Clinical Director, Operations Manager and Equine Manager on volunteer opportunities.
- Coordinate PR coverage as needed. Including coordinating with key organizations (Kosair, Crusade, Community Foundation, etc.) to promote the common good.
- Send End of Year donation letters and other regular messages to large donors.
- Coordinate quarterly newsletter and end of year report.
- Attend weekly meetings with management staff
- Raise $600,000 in 2025 through grants, donations and fundraisers
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Excellent writing skills with an emphasis on creating powerful marketing messages.
- Comfortable using software and social media. Willing to learn and use fundraising software such as Little Green Light and MailChimp.
- Experience using social media and online engagement.
- Basic knowledge of website management tools and creative design platforms like Canva.
- Demonstrated success in managing sponsorships and coordinating fundraising events.
- Ability to work collaboratively with board members, therapists, volunteers and external partners.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in donor communication and grant requests.
- Experience in public relations and media outreach is a plus.
- Previous experience in donor communications, fundraising, friend-raising, event coordination, and grant reporting a plus
- Familiarity with the non-profit sector and an understanding of grant funding and donor cultivation strategies a plus.
Compensation
· $25 hour 25-35 hours a week. Flexible schedule.
Note: Hours may include 2-3 weekend events per year.
· Participation in 3% matching IRA program
· 30 hours paid time off after six months
· 30 hours paid holidays after six months
