Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and organized Settlement Officer to manage the real estate settlement process from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the settlement process, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of real estate closings, including reviewing title commitments and preparing settlement statements.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations throughout the settlement process.
- Coordinate with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and other parties to schedule and facilitate closings.
- Resolve any issues that arise during the settlement process, ensuring smooth and timely closings.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all settlement transactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in real estate laws and title procedures.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of the real estate settlement process, including title, escrow, and closing procedures.
- Fanatical about providing an exceptional customer experience.
- Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment, managing multiple closings simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- High level of professionalism and customer service.
- Title insurance license and/or paralegal certificate is a plus but not required.
