Experienced mold remediation Technician will assist and supervise Technicians on mold Remediation, Crawlspace Encapsulations, Disinfection and other IAQ related jobs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Seeking only experienced Technicians that can attain mold remediation certification based on experience or currently has IICRC WRT/AMRT or similar credentials. If you have mold remediation experience with no current certifications but feel you are experinced enough, feel free to apply.
- Candidate must have a clear understanding of mold remediation, general construction, proper demolition, light HVAC, duct cleaning and other IAQ related functions.
- Candidate must have the ability to Supervise other Technicians, check others work and ready job sites for Post Remediation Verification.
- Loads/unloads supplies/equipment into and from vehicles, cleans and returns materials and equipment to proper storage areas.
- Drives and operates a company van equipped with cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies to the work site.
- Placing air movers and dehumidifiers in proper room locations to remove moisture from carpet, upholstery, and air. Recording an documenting pertinent information in our operation software.
- Performs basic demo tasks—cutting drywall, removing baseboards, and various flooring material, sprays fungicide and other materials.
- Provides exceptional customer service, treats property and contents with respect and care and brings any issues or customer concerns to the job leader.
- Follows proper safety practices, wears personal protective equipment as appropriate (gloves, respirators, Tyvek Suit) while working.
- Maintains clean and organized vehicle, equipment, and job site

- IICRC WRT/AMRT or similar certification preferred. Experienced Technicians that do not have current credentials, but are experienced in the Industry will not be disqualified and may qualify for Company paid certification.
- Valid driver’s license with clean MVR and access to dependable transportation.
- Able to safely lift up to 50 lbs., carry equipment up/downstairs.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal skills and Leadership qualities.
- Professional manner and team oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience and/or certifications in the disaster restoration industry a plus but not required with an existing 2 year Technician experience in the Restoration Industry. Drywall, framing or Construction experience a plus!
