Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all building occupants. This position involves various cleaning and maintenance tasks across commercial and residential settings, ensuring that all areas are well-kept and functional.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in all areas.
- Conduct industrial cleaning operations as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Carry out floor care duties such as buffing and waxing to enhance the appearance of floors.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and facilities.
- Respond promptly to custodial requests from staff or management.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained in good working condition.
- Support residential painting projects when required, contributing to overall facility upkeep.
Experience
- Experience in facilities maintenance is a plus.
