Responsibilities/Job Duties
- Organizing and updating accounting records
- Managing ledger reconciliation and accounts payable/receivable
- Analyzing transactions and preparing reports
- Developing advantageous methods to save money
- Overseeing budget and financial management
- Preparing financial reports for compliance and reviewing the company's financial status to ensure there are no discrepancies
- Collaborating with Tax Accountants to track tax payments and returns
- Reviewing and approving annual reports due to the Securities and Exchange Commission
- Conducting internal audits
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance
- Minimum of 3 years experience of working on a Certified Public Accountant or Senior Accountant position
- CPA required
- Proficient tax knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations
- Advanced MS Excel knowledge, specifically familiarity with formulas, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables
- Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Salary : $65,000 - $200,000
