Position Summary
Together with the President CEO and the Vice President of Strategic Growth, The Brand Manager & Program Coordinator is responsible Together with the President CEO and the Vice President of Strategic Growth, The Brand Manager & Program Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing Green Lake Conference Center’s brand and communication strategies. This strategy encompasses public relations and all communication platforms utilized by GLCC. The strategy ensures content is engaging, aligned with the organization’s mission and goals, and is in all respects on-brand. The goal is communications stewardship and growth of the GLCC brand (group and donor revenue plus brand awareness, understanding and engagement) and its program and facility sub-brands.
This role requires consistent positive engagement with GLCC’s audience. This requires a heart for the ministry of GLCC, and the ability to relate well with donors, guests, volunteers, partners, staff, and other stakeholders of the ministry. It also requires consistent coordination of content across social media, print, branded merchandise, and websites, ensuring that messaging is unified across communication channels. This role is responsible for capturing high-quality visual content to engage and grow our audience. If personal equipment is used in capturing content, fair compensation will be pre-arranged for such use. It is essential that content aligns with GLCC’s target audience in words, tone, and images and supports the GLCC brand and related sub-brands.
Strong writing skills, ability to create engaging visual content, and a keen understanding of modern marketing best practices will be essential to delivering on these responsibilities. The role will require a proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented individual who can contribute to the overall success of GLCC’s marketing and communications efforts.
Additionally, the position provides administrative and program support to the President and Program Directors, ensuring alignment with GLCC’s mission and values. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented communicator with a passion for storytelling and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of stewardship and program coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy and Execution (50%)
- Collaboratively develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn) that aligns with GLCC's brand.
- Utilize authentic GLCC visuals and content, maintaining high-quality standards that resonate with our diverse audience. Ensure messaging is tailored to each platform's unique format and audience, fostering engagement and brand consistency.

Engage constituents to capture authentic stories that reflect the heart, practical benefits, and spiritual impact of the GLCC brand. Transform these narratives into compelling content that educates and inspires action.
- Event Engagement: Attend at least 80% of Compelling Preaching sessions and 25% of Quest sessions to gather video content and stories. Contribute significantly to the Lilly Grant annual report.
- Conference Coverage: Participate in Victory Circles and at least 10% of Northern Pines conference sessions. Attend two sessions at the top 25 most strategic conferences, as determined with the VP of Strategic Growth and President. Conduct interviews with leaders when possible.
- Effectively curate and organize photography, video, and graphic design elements by capturing original content and thoughtfully selecting from submitted materials.
- Ensure all assets are aligned with GLCC's brand standards and are easily accessible for current and future use.
- Stay informed about current social media trends and leverage platform-specific tools to enhance visibility and engagement.
- Develop and execute a dynamic social media strategy, schedule consistent posts, monitor performance metrics, and adjust tactics to optimize audience interaction and outreach.
- Ensure social media content aligns seamlessly with GLCC’s website updates, synchronizing promotional campaigns, events, and news across digital platforms to maintain a cohesive brand presence.
Digital & Print Communications (25%)
- Oversee and enhance the GLCC website, ensuring content is optimized for search engines and aligned with our brand. Coordinate updates across platforms to improve SEO performance, leveraging keyword strategies, meta tags, and consistent messaging to increase visibility and engagement.
- Uphold GLCC logo standards and provide guidance to GLCC and World Wide Gifts staff on their application across promotional materials, ensuring consistent and appropriate use to maintain brand integrity.
- Manage and execute digital and print communications with supporters, including newsletters, magazines, email campaigns, onsite signage, and updates.
- Craft clear, compelling copy and visual content that aligns with the GLCC brand, resonates with our target audience, and fosters deeper engagement and long-term relationships.
- Analyze communication metrics—such as open rates, engagement levels, and feedback—to assess effectiveness. Utilize these insights to refine strategies, enhance audience engagement, and align messaging with organizational objectives.
- Design, source, and distribute GLCC-branded promotional items for both GLCC and World Wide Gifts (as needed), adhering to brand guidelines and budgets.
- Maintain the GLCC Board website and archive of materials, ensuring they are current, organized, and accessible. Update and manage orientation materials for new board members, facilitating a smooth onboarding process and promoting effective governance.
Program and Administrative Support (15%)

Provide administrative support for the President and assist with the coordination and execution of the Quest, SALT, and Creativity in Preaching programs as needed.
- Responsibilities may include scheduling, communication, event coordination, and maintaining program documentation to ensure smooth operations and alignment with organizational goals.

Manage the administration of Memory Lane donor inquiries and coordinate the annual dedication and worship service.
- This includes promptly addressing donor inquiries, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a seamless and meaningful worship experience that honors the contributions of our supporters.

Oversee the donor birthday card program, ensuring timely and personalized acknowledgment of supporters' birthdays.
- This includes maintaining accurate donor records, selecting appropriate messages, and coordinating the distribution of cards to foster continued engagement and appreciation.
- Coordinate hospitality efforts for major donors and program leaders, organizing personalized experiences such as teas, meals, welcome baskets, and other thoughtful gestures to express appreciation and strengthen relationships.
- Assist with grant writing and administration as directed, including researching funding opportunities, preparing proposals, tracking grant progress, ensuring compliance with funder requirements, and assisting with reporting and documentation to support program objectives and organizational goals.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the President CEO and the Vice President of Strategic Growth, including drafting correspondence, managing schedules, and assisting with special projects to enhance their efficiency and effectiveness in advancing GLCC's mission.
Photography (5%)
- Capture high quality photographs for promotional materials, including brochures, digital content, and event-related marketing. This involves photographing events, behind-the-scenes activities, and products and services.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred
- Relevant certifications in digital marketing, content creation, or nonprofit communications preferred
- Demonstrated professional experience in developing and executing social media strategies, including content creation, audience engagement, and performance analysis across various platforms required
- Nonprofit marketing, event coordination, or program management, demonstrating the ability to align communications with organizational missions preferred
- Managing donor relations, including crafting personalized communications and coordinating stewardship activities preferred
