Position Overview: Green Lake Conference Center (GLCC) is seeking an efficient, safety-oriented Housing Services - Route Team Member to oversee and coordinate housing-related services and deliveries to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of guest accommodations. This role is essential in maintaining housing inventories, coordinating the pick-up and delivery of linens and other necessary items, and working closely with Housing team members to meet the needs of laundry, housekeeping, and guest services. The Housing Services Route Team Member will play a vital role in maintaining an organized, welcoming environment for GLCC guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Route Coordination: Plan, schedule, and organize the delivery and collection of housing supplies, including linens, towels, and other necessary items, to various guest accommodations within the conference center.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage housing inventory, ensuring that all supplies are stocked, organized, and replenished as needed to meet the demands of housekeeping and guest services.
- Equipment and Supply Coordination: Ensure the proper handling, delivery, and collection of equipment and supplies used for housing services, maintaining an organized workflow and reporting any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety procedures while handling supplies and coordinating deliveries to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and inventory status to ensure effective tracking and accountability.
- Secondary Duties: Assist in other Housing Services tasks as necessary, including backup support for laundry and housekeeping functions when needed.
- Work Area Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and well-organized work area to enhance workflow efficiency and ensure easy access to supplies.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with staff members to complete tasks efficiently and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
- Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support the overall operations of the Housing Services department and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical labor, standing, bending, walking, or sitting, for extended periods.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain inventory accuracy and ensure the timely pick-up and delivery of supplies.
- Dependable, responsible, and reliable with a cooperative attitude
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Prior experience in housing services, logistics, or inventory management is preferred but not required.
Schedule & Commitment:
- Full and Part-time position, with flexible scheduling based on organizational needs.
- Typical work hours are flexible between 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, SundaySaturday, schedule to be determined based on availability and organizational need.
Key Working Relationships
- The Housing Services Route Team Member will collaborate with all Housing Services team members and other department staff members, including department directors, volunteers, work groups, and guests.
