Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As a Supervisor, you will lead a team of skilled workers, coordinate project activities, and maintain a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that all tasks are performed safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to guide project execution.
- Utilize construction management software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam for project scheduling and estimating.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets established standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, including labor hours and material usage.
- Communicate effectively with team members to address any issues or changes in project scope.
- Implement safety protocols in accordance with OSHA guidelines to promote a safe working environment.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and tools.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics.
- Familiarity with project scheduling techniques and construction estimating practices.
- Experience with quality control measures to ensure high standards of workmanship.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
