What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bar Attendant position at Green Lantern Pizza?
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our bar guests, learning their names, and personally recognizing regulars. You will present drink menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding beverages. Additionally, you will take beverage orders from guests and servers, accurately record them into the POS system, and prepare garnishes for drinks.
You will also receive and serve food orders to guests seated at the bar, accept guest payment, process credit card charges, and maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation. Your duties will include clearing and resetting tables in the bar area, washing and sterilizing glassware, and maintaining cleanliness in all areas of the bar.
