Job Description:
This role requires a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Line Cook. Key responsibilities include cooking meats, fish, vegetables, soups, and other hot food products, preparing and portioning food products prior to cooking, and maintaining a clean and sanitary work station area.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of meat, seafood, poultry, and vegetable dishes using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.
- Maintain high-quality standards by adhering to portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen rules and procedures.
- Ensure sufficient stock levels of food products at line stations to prevent disruptions during service periods.
- Portion food products accurately according to recipe specifications.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of kitchen preparation and cooking experience.
- 6 months' experience in a similar role preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with the kitchen and dining room teams.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.
