A growing nationwide Property Management company is looking for an Experienced Maintenance Technician for a Luxury Apartment Community in the Seattle, WA area. This is a fulltime position, working Tuesday through Sunday. This is a fairly new property. This position has opportunity to grow. This position does include helping with grounds daily.
Qualifications:
Provide hands-on support and participation in maintenance activities and effective motivation to drive team performance. Contribute to the achievement of occupancy goals by directing maintenance workflow to promote a quality living experience for residents. Must have recent experience of 1 years within Multi-Family Housing. Experience with Luxury Apartment Communities a plus. Responsibilities include general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances. Experience in apartment turnover, budget expenditures, and vendor management. Contribute to the achievement of financial goals through input and assistance in the administration of capital and operating maintenance budgets. Coordinate maintenance of the property with appropriate level of staff support to ensure the property facilities and appearance meet asset quality standards. Make continuous improvement your top priority; implementation of process efficiencies is a must in this role. Responsible for inventory of parts and appliances. Oversee general maintenance and orderliness of community facilities, (gym, common area, and other areas). Direct the daily repair and renovation of apartments while assisting with other special projects as needed. Promote positive, proactive resident relations by demonstrating a firm, fair, and consistent manner in all resident contacts. Strive to make the living experience, particularly the first and last impressions, of the highest quality. Facilitate resident introduction to company apartment procedures. Remain informed and aware of conditions that could have an impact on the ability to maintain property. Also responsible for after-hours and emergency on-call coverage. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Additional Qualifications:
Recent experience in property management maintenance is required. Expertise with the proper handling of tools is essential. Candidate must be computer literate with attention to detail and excellent organization skills. Must demonstrate world class customer service, as well as a confident communication style to interact effectively with prospects, residents, peers and management. Valid driver’s license and proof of current automobile insurance. Reliable transportation. English proficiency. Superior customer service skills.
