What are the responsibilities and job description for the CPR/First Aid Instructor position at Green Line Arms, LLC?
Job Summary
Green Line Arms is seeking a certified CPR/First Aid Instructor to teach courses at our professional training facility. We provide all training equipment needed for hands-on instruction. However, instructors must provide their own curriculum materials and maintain certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross.
This is a flexible, as-needed position based on class demand. Classes may be filled and scheduled by Green Line Arms or independently promoted by the instructor. Compensation is based on a revenue-sharing model outlined below.
Compensation Structure:
- 60/40 Split (Instructor/Green Line Arms): For students brought in and scheduled by the instructor.
- 40/60 Split (Instructor/Green Line Arms): For students provided through Green Line Arms marketing or scheduling.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct CPR and First Aid classes following AHA or Red Cross guidelines.
- Deliver hands-on, engaging instruction using equipment provided by Green Line Arms.
- Ensure students understand and demonstrate required life-saving techniques.
- Maintain a professional, organized training environment.
- Provide proof of current certification and maintain all required instructor materials.
Qualifications:
- Active CPR/First Aid Instructor certification through AHA or Red Cross.
- Must possess and bring your own approved instructor manuals and student materials.
- Prior teaching or public speaking experience preferred.
- Medical, EMS, or military background is a plus.
