Green Meadows Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is looking for an experienced Assistant Dietary Director to help oversee the dietary department.
The Assistant Dietary Director is able to perform and often performs the job assignments of the dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher positions and is able to operate a variety of industrial kitchen equipment.
The Assistant Dietary Director performs and leads small groups of assistants in food preparation, serving and clean-up activities as needed.
The Food Service Assistant Director assists in managing and supervising the dietary staff at the facility.
Provides leadership, support and guidance to ensure that food quality standards, inventory levels, food safety guidelines and customer service expectations are met.
Experience
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Certified Food Manager (CFM) participant or certification preferred (or as required by State & County law – see Certificates below.) Two years or more related experience.
Certificates
Food Safety Manager or Food handler Certification : Current ServSafe or State certification required as indicated by State / County law.
CDM / CFPP : Current Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) / Certified Food Protection Professional (CFPP) required where participant or certification is required by State regulation for long-term care.
