JOB SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, & SKILLS:
- Prepare and ship all outbound shipments including parcel, freight, and international.
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork for all outbound shipments.
- Coordinate delivery appointments for all outbound shipments via phone and/or email correspondence.
- Follow and adhere to all company and customer shipping instructions, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain accurate data entry and records in our system per company policies.
- Maintain and file documents and paperwork per company policies.
- Process outgoing shipments using UPS, FedEx and other various shipping software and/or customer portals.
- Upon need, prepare all outbound pallets for shipment including finishing, wrapping, and palletizing of product.
- Work internally with other departments and team members to ensure shipping deadlines are met.
- Upon need, operate powered industrial trucks including forklifts, powered jacks, etc.
- Utilize computer systems, Microsoft Office software including email, word, excel.
- Upon need, assist the Receiving department of our two warehouse(s).
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Other duties pertinent to warehouse functions, as assigned by immediate supervisor.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of one (1) year experience working in shipping/receiving preferred to include:
o Knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes.
o Experience working with FedEx Ship Manger® and UPS WorldShip®
§ Internal on-site training is additionally provided.
- Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
- Knowledge of PC and database programs; experience working with an internal ERP system, printing labels, word processing, and spreadsheets, preferred.

- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and via email.
- Strong mathematical aptitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
