Green Mountain Flagging is an exciting family-run company protecting work zones all over Vermont and throughout the Northeast.

Summary

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for supporting operations in the office and in the field. This person will supervise vehicle maintenance tracking, data tracking as well as managing and tracking inventory of all uniforms and equipment both in the office and in the field. This position is fast-paced and requires a dedicated and dynamic individual who wants to be part of a close-knit team!

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory including tracking issued uniforms and equipment, tracking in house inventory and field inventory, ordering new uniforms and equipment proactively.
• Utilize current inventory tracking system, proactively offer new suggestions and ideas to improve and update tracking system.
• Track and manage vehicle maintenance using daily paperwork, Samsara, and seasonal maintenance schedules.
• Update Samsara (tracking system) with any changes to drivers, vehicle additions or removals, Driver Bonuses and maintenance schedules.
• Handle and track weekly paperwork from the field addressing issues promptly.
• Understand and be able to clearly explain company policies and procedures.
• Back up to conduct interviews, manage schedules, general administrative duties.
• Rotate with the team carrying the “on-call” phone some nights/weekends.
• Work in the field as needed.
• Always exhibit professional communication and behavior.
• Respond to requests from Lead Supervisor, Scheduling office and Management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office products.
• Previous industry experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 40lbs and work on feet/stand for a minimum of 4 hours.
• Must possess current and valid driver’s license and pass an MVR check.
• Must be available some weekends and evenings.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail.
