The Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity (GMHFH) ReStore in Milton is seeking a part-time Associate to support its mission of helping local families build strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable homeownership.

Summary :

Habitat ReStore Cashiers provide excellent customer service and ensures customers and donors have a safe, positive, and rewarding experience. They assist in pricing, merchandising, and maintaining the sales floor; cashiering, moving, and loading donations; and other duties as assigned.

Department : Milton ReStore, in-person

FLSA Status : Part Time Hourly, Non-Exempt

Schedule : Part time according to store needs

Reports To : Store Manager

Supervises : None

Requirements :

Main Responsibilities :

• Engage customers in a helpful and respectful manner with a positive attitude
• Process customer transactions through the point-of-sale system (includes discounts, coupons, returns, tax exemptions, etc.)
• Guarantee integrity and accurate cash handling
• Ensure that the movement of merchandise is done in a safe and effective manner
• Keep all areas, in and around the ReStore, clear and free of safety hazards
• Perform additional duties as required, including stocking, cart retrieval, and price changes.

The hourly rate for this part-time, in-person position is currently $16 hourly, and the position includes a 20% to Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity ReStores.
