FLSA Status : Part-Time Hourly, Non-Exempt
Schedule : Flexible Scheduling Between Monday-Friday (25-27 hours per week), some remote work possible
Reports To : CEO
Supervises : None
Primary Responsibilities
This position will support Habitat’s fundraising goal by grant writing. Position duties include (but are not limited to) :
- Support Habitat for Humanity ideals and mission through participation in and accomplishment of our organizational goals.
- Perform prospect research on foundations and corporations to evaluate prospects for corporate, foundation and civic grants.
- Compile necessary information for the application process through collaboration with other employees, database research, and other fact-finding actions and meetings.
- Responsible for conducting the full range of activities required to write, prepare, submit and manage grant proposals to potential funders.
- Comply with all grant reporting as required by grant donors.
- Coordinate the monitoring and evaluation of programs and projects that are funded by grants.
- Develop and maintain master files on grants and paperwork connected to programs funded by grants.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Compensation & Benefits
Starting pay range : $21 to $27 an Hour. Initial compensation is determined based on the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience. Includes paid time off and a 20% staff discount at all the GMHFH ReStores.
