Job Summary:
We are looking for a Quality Technician to support our manufacturing operations by ensuring compliance with quality standards, conducting inspections, analyzing data, and assisting with process improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in quality assurance methodologies, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Inspection & Control:
- Conduct in-process and final product inspections to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Perform incoming material inspections and collaborate with suppliers to address quality concerns.
- Utilize measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, spectrometers) to evaluate product specifications.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, non-conformities, and corrective actions.
2. Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Collect and analyze quality data using statistical tools such as Minitab, Excel software.
- Support process capability studies and trend analysis to enhance production quality.
- Prepare quality reports and present findings to the Quality and Production teams.
3. Process Improvement & Compliance:
- Assist in implementing and maintaining ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other industry-specific quality standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) to enhance production efficiency.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with production teams to implement quality control procedures and best practices.
4. Problem-Solving & Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and production staff to resolve quality issues.
- Assist in training employees on quality procedures, standards, and best practices.
- Escalate significant quality concerns to management and contribute to problem-resolution meetings.
Job Requirements:
1. Education & Major:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Preferred Majors: Chemical Engineering, Polymer Materials, Quality Management, Standardization Engineering, or related fields.
2. Skills & Qualifications:
- Data Analysis: Proficiency in Excel, Minitab tools, or similar statistical analysis software.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with measurement tools, quality inspection techniques, and manufacturing processes.
- Software Knowledge: Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of Quality Standards: Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other quality management systems is a plus.
