Job Summary:
A professional cleaning company is seeking a Floor Technician to perform floor maintenance in commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and carpet cleaning to maintain a clean and professional appearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine floor maintenance, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Operate floor care equipment such as buffers, burnishers, extractors, and scrubbers.
- Strip, wax, and refinish hard surface floors as needed.
- Shampoo and extract carpets to remove stains and maintain cleanliness.
- Ensure all chemicals and equipment are used safely and properly.
- Follow company procedures and safety guidelines for handling cleaning solutions and machinery.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to complete tasks efficiently.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
