We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. As a Retail Assistant Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. This is a dynamic role that requires strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional retail experiences.
Duties:
- Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Provide guidance and support to sales associates, ensuring they meet sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock replenishment
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new employees
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to drive sales growth
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance the overall store appearance
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement marketing initiatives to increase store traffic and customer engagement
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a retail management role, preferably as an Assistant Manager or similar position
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Knowledge of wireless sales is preferred but not required
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with customers and staff
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
