Brief Description
A General Assembler performs parts and material installation and assembly tasks per written and verbal work instructions.
Responsibilities
- Performs installations and assembles parts according to special written work instructions, routings, blueprints and verbal directives.
- Cleans, assembles, disassembles and replaces parts as required.
- Maintains a clean and safe working environment and optimizes space utilization.
- Communicates and cooperates with supervisors and coworkers.
- Operates and maintains shop equipment.
- Follows quality service standards and complies with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Keeps production supervisor advised of work status, workload, problems and progress as related to work assignments.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education & Training :
Qualified candidates will receive on the job training and will be required to attend education and training classes at BridgeValley Community & Technical College.
Compensation and Benefits :
Compensation for this position will be in the range of $18 TO $20 per hour. Qualified candidates will be paid for a 40-hour work week, working four, 10-hour shifts while attending classes at BridgeValley on either Mondays or Fridays.
