What are the responsibilities and job description for the AmeriCorps Program Assistant position at Green River Area Development District?
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1) Assist with AmeriCorps Senior Connections host agency site recruitment and site interviews.
2) Assist with member recruitment, interviews, and member enrollment.
3) Assist with enrolling AmeriCorps members into the online eGrants portal.
4) Ensure collection, review, computer entry and maintenance of member time sheets and reports.
5) Review, log and process member travel reimbursement requests
6) Assist with host agency site supervisor and member visits.
7) Assist with monitoring each host site agency bi-annually and ensure that member evaluations are completed at program year mid-term and end of term.
8) Assist with member pre-service orientation and quarterly training programs for members.
9) Attend Serve Kentucky and other events, meetings, conference calls and attend related conferences, as necessary.
10) Address member personnel issues up to and including a first warning.
11) Implement and coordinate service projects with members, service sites and partner agencies.
12) Maintain regular communication with members and site supervisors by phone and e-mail as necessary.
13) Participate in GRADD monthly staff meetings.
14) Enforce client confidentiality regulations.
15) Participate in public relations activities for GRADD and the Senior Connections AmeriCorps program.
16) Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
