As part of the GRC digital marketing team, the Digital Marketing Specialist works on planning, developing, and deploying engaging digital content for all digital channels at GRC. These projects could include email campaigns, website content, social media appeals or targeted blogging. The Digital Marketing Specialists should be familiar with marketing strategy and audience engagement.

- Determine the content, timing, and platform best suited to reach the College’s target audiences (e.g., Google Ads; Meta Business Suite; Sprout Social)
- Researching digital advertising trends, platforms, and channels to decide what is best for GRC
- Serving as the College’s social media expert, keeping ahead of paid and organic social media marketing best practices
- Regularly monitoring and reporting on web and digital performance metrics and optimizing plans to meet objectives
- Collaborate across units and departments to build a content conduit that represents the College’s diverse focus areas and priorities
- Researching digital advertising trends, platforms, and channels to determine what is best for GRC
- Helping develop digital strategy and campus implementation
- Researching competitor content
- Supporting web content management
- Implementing digital marketing campaigns
- Associate degree in marketing, advertising, communications, digital media, or a related field and at least 1-2 years of demonstrated experience
- Experience managing paid and organic digital marketing efforts, including direct experience in digital advertising management platforms and tools including Google Ads/Analytics, Meta, LinkedIn, X, and emerging digital marketing tools and technologies.
- Experience with building a content strategy using data and feedback
- Experience planning with and using a content calendar that aligns with strategic goals
- Ability to effectively tell GRC’s story across various digital and social media platforms
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, think critically, creatively, and exercise independent judgment required.
- Ability to understand diverse student perspectives and adapt the medium to address individual relevancy
- Proficiency in MS Office programs such as Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint
- Excellent proofreading and editing
- Organized work habits

- Advertising, collateral, brand identity, and interactive design
- New digital trends and social technologies and to forecast and identify trends and challenges in the digital space

- Hybrid work environment with two (2) remote days available each week
- Must have the ability to sit for prolonged periods of time at a desk/computer workstation
