Accepting applications for Spring Quarter 2025 A court reporting reader will read testimony dictation along with the instructor for various time intervals. Using a stopwatch to keep track, the reader will read on pace with timing marks contained in the dictation submitted by the instructor. The reader must be able to read at the following speeds: 60 WPM, 80 WPM, 100 WPM, 120 WPM, 140 WPM, 160 WPM, 180 WPM, 200 WPM, 225 WPM. There will be occasional reading at 240 WPM necessary. A stopwatch is provided to the reader. There will be seven classes on Wednesdays from 8-12 requiring dictation. This position is year-round.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
WORKING CONDITIONS: • Must be able to sit for a prolonged period of time at a podium • Frequent use of computer and exposure to terminal screen in performing work assignments.
