Cahier- Basking Ridge

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Greets customers as they enter Green’s Natural Foods.
• Processes different forms of payments and makes accurate change to ensure no overages or shortages.
• Assists customers with questions or price discrepancies.
• Processes returns and exchanges according to store policy.
• Maintain a clean and organized front end.
• Assists customers in locating various products, resolving complaints, or providing information.
• Bag, box, and wrap purchased items.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work as a positive team member.
• Ability to operate available equipment, such as cash registers and scanners.
• Basic mathematical skills, as needed to make change and give refunds.
• Natural food knowledge is helpful.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of onthejob training.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing and working on cash register or related equipment.
• While performing this job, you will regularly be required to talk, hear, reach, bend, stoop, carry, push, and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
• May need to work nights and weekends as scheduled.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time.
