The Hospitality Associate, referred to as a "Budtender," is responsible for creating a world-class customer experience for every individual who enters the store. This position is accountable for executing initiatives that achieve all hospitality goals and support community outreach efforts.
This includes responsibility for all policies and procedures, compliance, ingestion, community engagement initiatives, and other operational objectives of the business. It also includes executing visual standards, maintaining product presentation according to customer requirements and performance metrics, and supporting hospitality, marketing, and outreach objectives.
Essential Functions

Basic Qualifications

Minimum 21 years of age.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service within retail.

Strong analytical skills to assess data, facts, and figures.
Preferred Qualifications

Associate degree.

Sales experience.

Knowledge of cannabis strains (indicas, sativas, hybrids), edibles, extracts, and current market products a significant plus.

Dispensary-related experience preferred.

Must be able to provide exemplary customer service and represent the business with professionalism and pride.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Working Conditions
This job operates in a professional retail environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
This is a Part-time position. Evening and weekend work is required as job duties demand. The role regularly involves long hours, weekend shifts, nights, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands or feet, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
