Net Architect

Position : .NET Architect

Location: Springfield, OH - ONSITE

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Developer or Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing solutions using C#, ASP.NET, MVC.NET, and Entity Framework. This role requires hands-on experience in container-based development, specifically with Docker, and experience in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET, and MVC.NET frameworks.
• Implement and optimize data access using Entity Framework and SQL queries.
• Hands-on experience in developing and managing containerized applications using Docker.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to ensure seamless deployment processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features within an Agile environment.
• Provide architectural guidance and direction for projects involving cloud services, particularly in Azure.
• Work with Azure ARM Templates or Terraform for infrastructure deployment and management.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code and ensure best practices are followed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Worked with Azure Function-Apps is a plus.
• Proficiency with Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Familiarity with Helm for Kubernetes package management.
• Experience with Python for scripting and automation tasks.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience in writing optimized SQL queries.
• Experience working in Agile development methodologies and participating in Scrum or Kanban teams.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Nice to Have:

• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD best practices.
• Knowledge of Azure ARM Templates for infrastructure as code.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse and data analytics.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7 years of hands-on experience in software development, with a strong focus on the .NET ecosystem.
• Proven hands-on experience in container-based development and CI/CD pipelines.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour
