Green Street School has an opening for a full-time 5th grade Classroom Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching all aspects of the classroom curriculum, understanding the social, emotional, and academic needs of students, and working with interventionists and specialists to provide engaging and differentiated opportunities for ALL students, including those with social/emotional, behavioral and academic needs. Additionally, candidates should have a knowledge of instructional strategies that will best support a wide range of learners, be able and willing to implement effective behavior management skills and have an understanding of and experience with implementing individualized behavior plans. It is important that the candidate have a willingness to work collaboratively as part of an amazing team to support students. A positive commitment to student progress and achievement is essential! The candidate will primarily teach math, social studies, and science and be responsible for providing small group interventions in both math and literacy. Qualified candidates should be licensed educators, or licensable, in elementary education.
