Green Street’s Finance team is seeking an FP&A Analyst who possesses superior financial acumen, has proficiency in recurring revenue financial analysis, understands compensation programs, and is a highly effective collaborator eager to deliver strategic insights to the business.
The FP&A Analyst will be responsible for financial analysis including designing and reporting variable compensation programs, analyzing monthly operating trends, maintaining rolling forecasts, and assisting with the preparation of ad hoc modelling (e.g., M&A). The role will operate closely with company leadership and will require cross-functional collaboration within the organization across commercial, product, and technology.

Responsibilities
- Administer and assist company leadership with the design of company-wide variable compensation programs:
- Collaborate with commercial leadership including sales, account management, customer success, and business development to design motivating variable compensation programs and calculate the financial impact of proposed programs
- Calculate monthly and quarterly compensation payouts (e.g., commissions) and deliver associated compensation statements to the commercial team
- Work closely with HR to determine year-end bonus targets and ensure proper payouts
- Perform monthly budget vs. actual reporting and deliver findings to department leadership
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of the monthly operating report package that is delivered to senior leadership
- Maintain the company’s rolling expense forecast and monitor key performance indicators to ensure that leaders are able to act quickly on risks or opportunities to financial objectives
- Ad hoc strategic financial support to business leaders by modelling investment decisions, including M&A modelling and value capture tracking
- Drive business value by developing a thorough understanding of Green Street’s product suite and objectives in order to identify and recommend new business strategies to achieve growth and improve margins
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with a minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in related field
- Prior business analysis experience required; familiarity with information services or SaaS businesses with recurring revenue models is a plus
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required; Experience using Adaptive and PowerBI is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communicator
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a virtual, global team environment to meet goals and objectives
- Authorization to work in the United States now and in the future, without visa or sponsorship requirements
