Job Summary and Goal
The instructional Leader will be developing, executing plans, assessing and supporting all teachers. This leader will be providing teaching strategies and designing processes for higher levels of student engagement and academic success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coach, Mentor and Support Teachers in grades 6-12
- Analyze Data Driven Instruction
- Responsible for Lesson Planning Supervision
- Curriculum Development
- Professional Development
- Facilitate daily Students of Concern
- Supervise Teachers and students academic relationships.
- Facilitate department meetings
- Supervise the Special Education Department
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 month
Salaried Position
Preferred Qualifications and Requirements
- Master’s in Education.
- Demonstrated experience closing gaps in student achievement.
- Successful experiences collecting, organizing and using student and teacher data
- Successful experience working with and teaching adults
- Demonstrated communication skills;
· Demonstrated ability to work with diverse staff
- Teaching experience in a public or private school, preferably in an urban setting;
- Demonstrated ability to work well with parents;
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member/leader;
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate tests and measurements of achievement
- 5 year minimum teacher experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
