Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Express Maintenance Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support throughout their automotive service experience. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive systems, excellent communication skills, and a passion for customer satisfaction. The Express Service Advisor will work closely with technicians and customers to ensure that all service needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their service needs.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and recommended services.
- Prepare detailed service estimates and explain the services required to customers.
- Take walk-around videos of each vehicle that enters the shop.
- Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, services performed, and parts used.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Promote dealership services, including sales of parts, accessories, and additional services.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and dealership offerings.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in automotive service or sales is preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive systems is highly desirable.
- Works well with co-workers.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
- Experience in a dealership environment is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with auto service management software is an advantage.
- A background as a mechanic or service technician can enhance your candidacy.
