Description
General Summary:
Performs various maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the club.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Complete service requests and preventive maintenance in a timely manner
- Repair and maintain all electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems and service equipment
- Perform carpentry work and paint interiors and exteriors as needed
- Ensure outstanding property upkeep and pristine curb appeal at all times; pick up and dispose of trash or litter
- Respond to accidents or emergency facility situations
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Willingness to learn and adapt to varied and added responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Certification/Education and Experience
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, irrigation.
- HVAC certification
Travel:
- Local travel is required to respond to service requests and pick up parts, reliable transportation is required.
Working Condition:
- Fast-paced with frequent interruptions
- There is a potential for stressful situations and for long hours including evenings and weekends shifts.
- Occasionally work in a hot, humid, and noisy environment
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
- Frequently push and pull up to 200 pounds.
- This position frequently communicates in person and over the phone with colleagues, members, and managers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
