Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
- Provide Medication Reminders as needed.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Document and report changes in clients' conditions to the care team.
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities as required.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older with valid Drivers License and proof of car insurance.
- Previous experience in home care or a similar role is a plus.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move clients as needed; physical stamina required.
- Empathetic, patient, and reliable demeanor with a passion for helping others.
- Background check and drug screening are mandatory.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate client needs, including evenings and weekends.
