Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Help clients maintain personal hygiene and grooming routines.
- Support clients with medication reminders and adherence to care plans.
- Transport clients to appointments and social outings as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client's condition.
Requirements:
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine interest in helping others.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
- Experience in home care or caregiving is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred, but not required.
