Job Overview
Club 58 at Green Valley Country Club is seeking an experienced, charismatic, and highly skilled Bar Supervisor to oversee our bar operations and elevate the guest experience. As the Lead Bartender, you will manage a team of bartenders, craft innovative cocktails, ensure exceptional service, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. Key Responsibilities
**Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of bartenders, ensuring consistency in service quality and adherence to company standards.
**Beverage Program: Develop and update the cocktail menu in collaboration with management, incorporating seasonal ingredients, trends, and customer preferences.
**Customer Service: Deliver outstanding service to guests, engaging with them to create a memorable experience while handling inquiries, complaints, and special requests.
**Inventory Management: Monitor and manage bar inventory, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; place orders and minimize waste to maintain cost efficiency.
**Quality Control: Ensure all drinks are prepared to the highest standards, maintaining consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning.
**Operational Efficiency: Oversee bar setup, breakdown, and cleanliness; enforce health, safety, and sanitation regulations in compliance with local laws.
**Scheduling: Assist the F&B Manager in creating staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours and events.
**Cash Handling: Manage cash tips, process payments, and reconcile daily sales reports with accuracy.
**Event Support: Collaborate with management to plan and execute special events, private parties, or promotions requiring bar services.
**Key Holder: Responsible for opening or closing the restaurant and bar
Qualifications
**Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of bartending experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
**Skills:
- Expert knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, and bar equipment.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
**Certifications: Valid alcohol service certification (e.g., TIPS, SERV Safe Alcohol, or equivalent)
**Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift to 50 lbs., and work in a fast-paced environment.
**Availability: Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
