What does a Garden Center Associate do?
As a Garden Center Associate this spring, you will jump right into the action! Your daily tasks will include :
- Greeting customers with a smile and helping them in a variety of ways. This includes answering plant questions, directing customers to the location of products, helping load purchases into carts and more
- Working with a Point of Sale system at a register, efficiently processing items and payments
- Maintaining a variety of plant material which includes watering, deadheading, pruning, spacing and more
- Merchandising displays by transferring plant material from carts onto the display tables
- Maintaining the sales area by sweeping, raking and general cleaning
- Helping out in in other areas of the greenhouse as needed
- Adhering to Green Valley's safety standards
Our Garden Center is open Monday-Saturday and is always closed on Sunday. Green Valley recognizes the importance of flexibility and offers accommodating day and evening schedules.
