What does a Greenhouse Worker do?
As a Greenhouse Worker this spring, you will jump right into the action! Your daily tasks will include, but are not limited to, standing at a conveyor belt planting plants, hand-watering plants, loading plants onto carts at a fast pace to fulfill customer orders, moving and spacing plants for optimal growing, cleaning carts, sweeping, and a vast array of cleaning and organizational projects around the greenhouse.
Our hours of operation are 7 : 30am-4 : 00pm, Monday through Friday with hours extending to 5 : 00pm for the month of May. The opportunity for adding weekend hours and extending your daily hours is available as peak season arrives. Tolerance for performing repetitive motions as well as the ability to work on conveyor belts that are in motion is essential. Physical stamina is also vital as you can expect to be on your feet while working which includes walking, bending, lifting and standing in place.
