Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that each Customer receives outstanding Customer Service by providing a Customer friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every Customer, maintaining outstanding standards, and all other components of Customer Service.
- Evaluate business operations; recommend, develop and implement plans to maximize sales and profitability goals, controlling expenses, payroll and shrink.
- Perform and assign all duties necessary to maintain a clean and attractive store; both inside and out, in accordance with Company policy and standards and as assigned by Company leadership.
- Learn, model and train team leads and sales associates on Company selling guidelines to increase sales and customer
- Understand product mix, merchandising, merchandise promotions, test merchandise, and advertisements
- Set up advertising or promotional displays or arrange merchandise to promote sales.
- Accurately receive merchandise from vendors in accordance with Company policy and procedure.
- Learn, comply, train and enforce to team leads and sales associates Company policies and procedures, as well as, Federal, State and local laws and regulations.
- Maintain professional and productive work relationships with all internal team members at all levels.
- Train develop and direct team leads and sales associates in accordance with Company policy and procedures
- Any other duties as assigned by Company leadership.
Experience and Education:
Required:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar customer service environment;
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite;
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field from an accredited college or university;
- Previous leadership experience;
- Previous experience in a similar retail setting

Essential Physical Requirements:
- Occasional local travel by car required;
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, 4 feet high; and 20 pounds, 5 feet high, without the aid of another person;
- Must be able to sit/stand up for up to a full 8-hour shift, in the performance of the position;
- Must be able to maintain balance and climb to a height of five feet on a ladder;
- Must be able to sit/stand up for up to a full 8-hour shift, in the performance of the position;
- Must be able to work around various fumes, odors, chemical agents, and solvents;
- Must be able to work as a leader with limited supervision under stressful conditions;
- Must be able to use a desk top computer as well as mobile and desk phone to accomplish duties;
- Must be able to read and understand English and complete moderately complex mathematics to complete required administrative tasks;
- Must be able to obtain and maintain valid work cards and certifications required by Federal, State or local law including, but not limited to, Food Handler’s Safety Card and Alcohol Awareness;
- Must be able to operate and use all equipment required by the operation;
- Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates
