Green Village Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation is a 69 bed facility with all private rooms located in Akron (Green) OH.

The primary purpose of your job position is to serve food in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, with our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Dietary Manager, to assure that quality food service is provided at all times.
Job Responsibilities
The Dietary Aide assumes daily responsibility in the following areas:
- Assist in the kitchen preparing meals in accordance with planned menus following sanitary regulations and established policy.
- Serve meals that have palatable and appetizing in appearance; maintaining proper portion control.
- Serve food in accordance with standardized recipes and special diet orders.
- Serve substitute foods to residents who would prefer an alternate meal choice
- Ensure that the department is maintained in a clean and safe manner by assuring that necessary equipment and supplies are maintained.
- Serving meals in a timely manner, ensuring that meals arrive to the resident hot and ready to eat.
- Serve meals in a manner that would be respected in any fine dining environment, treating each resident in such a way that they feel they are receiving great customer service.
- Assist in cleaning the kitchen and dining areas, doing dishes, cleaning counter tops, or cleaning up the dining area after meals.
- Other tasks, duties or projects as assigned.
Essential Qualifications
- Ability to think and work independently or under the direction of the Dietary Manager, and communicate effective with other team members
- High School graduate or equivalent
