O&M Service Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operations and Maintenance Service Technician to join our team at Green Water and Power, a leading provider of Electric Vehicle (EV) charging solutions. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the operational efficiency and maintenance of our EV charging equipment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess strong technical and problem-solving skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of EV charging equipment to identify and address any potential issues or malfunctions promptly.
- Perform schedule maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of the charging stations, following manufacturer guidelines and protocols.
- Work closely with the warehouse manager on maintaining an accurate inventory of tools and equipment needed for repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with the Construction Manager to schedule and prioritize repairs and maintenance activities based on urgency and impact of operations.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems with EV chargers, performing repairs as needed.
- Document all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs accurately and thoroughly in the company's database or maintenance tracking system.
- Provide support and technical guidance to other team members as required.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on site, ensuring a safe environment for oneself and others.
- Other assignments and special projects, as requested by management.
- Partake in company training when required.
- Local travel required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in electrical or mechanical systems is preferred.
- Proven experience in maintenance, servicing, or repair of electrical or electromechanical equipment is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting skills related to EV charging infrastructure.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams to perform maintenance and repairs.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in using basic tools and diagnostic equipment for maintenance and repair purposes.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Valid Driver’s License
