Summary
We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic team at our Atlanta location to act as a liaison between Top Management and assist with several HR functions. This role reports directly to the COO.
Responsibilities
Assist with recruiting:
- Job postings and interview scheduling utilizing Indeed,
- Interview facilitation, greet candidates, administer pre-interview screening,
- Post interview records keeping,
- Facilitating pre-employment screening,
- Timely and accurate correspondences with candidates,
- Full recruiting cycle.
Assist with employees onboarding and offboarding:
- Facilitate New Hire Orientation,
- Partners with Hiring Manger and IT department to prepare equipment, PPE, uniforms, tools, etc. for newly hired employees,
- Keeps accurate records of equipment, tools, PPE, etc. that were assigned to employees,
- Retrieve all assigned items at the time of employee offboarding,
Payroll:
- Run the bi-weekly payroll process, review COO and Accounting Manager; transmit payroll
- Contact employees and managers about any payroll discrepancies; resolve payroll issues in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure all expense reimbursement reports are uploaded properly and accurately
Assist with employee relations and performance tracking:
- Assist with Employee Performance Reviews and Performance Improvement process,
- Handle employees’ questions regarding paycheck, benefits, attendance points, etc.
- Runs reports and communicates employees’ attendance to Managers.
Receptionist function:
- Interacting with clients, prospects, and vendors by phone,
- Arranging courier delivery, and receiving and distributing mail,
- Ensuring the reception area is always presentable.
Safety Committee:
- Attend Safety Team Meetings
- Take meeting minutes
- Help with Safety Records Upload to ETQ
Requirements
- Associate degree in related field
- 5 to 10 years of human resource experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Indeed, ADP or similar HR system
