Landscaper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves performing various tasks related to landscaping, groundskeeping, and hardscaping to ensure the aesthetic appeal and health of outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Irrigate and maintain plant health through proper watering techniques.
• Execute hardscape projects such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment for tree trimming and shrub shaping.
• Conduct regular inspections of landscaped areas to identify weeds, pests, or diseases.
• Assist in the installation of new plants, trees, and shrubs as needed.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition through routine cleaning and minor repairs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of landscaping projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of groundskeeping practices and mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity with irrigation systems and techniques for effective water management.
• Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift
